Subject: Join me in Supporting Mother McAuley!

Hi [first_name],

Mother McAuley's annual 24-hour giving day, Mercy Day of Giving, is coming up on September 24! Join me in supporting my alma mater, and ensuring the lifetime advantage of a McAuley education is available for generations of young women to come.

[Your Story: Why are you supporting McAuley? What impact has it had on you/your family/your friends?]

All proceeds from Mercy Day of Giving go towards the McAuley Fund, which, among other things:

  • enriches the school's programs, including academics, arts, athletics, campus ministry, and technology.
  • supports financial aid and scholarship for students, a need that is greater than ever today.
  • supports unbudgeted expenses, which, due to COVID-19, includes investments in PPE, sanitizing equipment, technology upgrades (web cameras and audio devices in each classroom for synchronous learning), and additional training for teachers.

Join me in spreading the word or making a donation on September 24! Save the date and learn more at

Thank you for supporting Mother McAuley!

Hi [first name],

Mercy Day of Giving, Mother McAuley's 24-hour giving day, is only X days away. We know that young women - especially Mighty Macs - will be the leaders and changemakers of tomorrow. But did you know that only 1.6% of Americans' charitable giving goes to help women and girls? They deserve better, and I need your help to make a difference!

Your contributions can make a big impact on current and future McAuley students:

  • $12,900 - covers one year's tuition
  • $6,450 - covers one half tuition
  • $1,300 - covers one month of tuition for a McAuley student
  • $1,000 - covers a Catherine McAuley Service Scholarship for an incoming freshman
  • $500 - covers the Legacy or Sister discount for current students whose mother attended McAuley, or whose sister also attends McAuley
  • $250 - covers the cost of Kairos for a student in need
  • $100 - covers field trip expenses for a student in need

Together we can provide the lifetime advantage of a McAuley education to young women for years to come. Visit to support Mother McAuley!

Thank you!

Subject: Invest in Mighty Macs, Invest in the Future!

Hi [first_name],

TODAY is the day! It’s September 24th, so the time to give is now. Please join me in supporting Mother McAuley.

I truly believe that an investment in McAuley is an investment in the future. Young women graduate from McAuley and move forward with conviction, confidence, compassion, and the courage to pursue their dreams. Just as the alumnae who came before them paved the way as presidents of major corporations, top-level engineers, award-winning lawyers, renown doctors, creative entrepreneurs, and so much more, current and future Mighty Macs hold the promise of a better and brighter future.

They are leaders. They are changemakers. A gift on Mercy Day of Giving shows them that they have a whole community behind them who believe in all they can accomplish. Make a gift at

If you’ve already donated, thank you so much for your support! I hope you’ll consider sharing your McAuley story with your friends and family on social media to get the word out about Mercy Day of Giving and the difference McAuley makes in our community and world! Be sure to use #MacsGiveBack!

Thank you!

Subject: This is it - support McAuley!

Hi [first_name],

Mercy Day of Giving is almost over! This 24-hour giving day supports the McAuley Fund, an unrestricted fund that allows McAuley to utilize gifts where they're needed most.

The school is currently running a hybrid model for their students - half are in the building and half are eLearning each day - and as you can imagine, they have incurred unbudgeted expenses in order to accomplish this with the health and safety of students, faculty, staff, and their families top of mind. The school has made substantial investments in:

  • PPE
  • sanitizing equipment
  • technology upgrades - web cameras and audio devices for each classroom to facilitate synchronous learning
  • additional training for teachers
  • tuition and financial aid for families in need

The school is financially strong and able to make these investments due to the generosity of donors who have supported the McAuley Fund in the past. They're counting on our continued support to allow them to pivot when unexpected expenses arise, continue to support families who are hurting due to the COVID-19 pandemic through financial aid and scholarship opportunities, and help boost their faculty who are working hard and have reinvented themselves and their methods to keep the lifetime advantage going in this new normal.

If you can't donate at this time, or already have, you can also show your support by sharing Mercy Day of Giving with your friends and family on social media! Be sure to the #MacsGiveBack!

Thank you again!
